Prehistoric People & Archaeology - 594805

Explore not only what archeologists are but what they do. Students learn not only how archeologist work but what they may be looking for. This trunk contains lesson plans and activities to go along with the artifacts. Artifacts in this kit are: Atlatl (handle used to throw darts), spears and darts, awl, brush, scrapper, screen, 3 points (Plano, Clovis, Folsom), fire starter, hammer stone, stone axe, trowel, whisk broom and dustpan.

Trunks can be picked up on Saturday between 12:00pm and 2:30pm. The Museum is closed on Sundays for the foreseeable future. Trunks need to be returned by 10:00am the following Saturday morning.

Cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the start date for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the program start date are subject to a 50% fee, less than 1 week are subject to a 75% fee. No refunds on or after the scheduled pick up day.
