An introductory course where participants learn rudimentary drawing skills to produce their own still life art piece. Students will need to purchase their own art supplies. No experience with art required!
Items to purchase: Graphite pencils, gum eraser, a sketchbook of any size or shape (so long as there are no lines), compressed charcoal, charcoal pencils, compressed white pastel chalk, white chalk pencils, a kneaded eraser, and two sheets of large (typically 19” x 24”), toned gray drawing paper. All of these items can be found at art supply stores.
